Our Story
What if preschool was designed to prepare children to be on/above grade level before entering elementary school while also enriching children's unique gifts and talents?
That's the question that inspired Tramaine and Alisha Leday to found Gifted Early Learning Academy, the preschool powered to set students up for a successful academic future.
As a data driven, public elementary school administrator, Alisha discovered that many children entered kindergarten below expected grade level and struggled to successfully advance. This led her and her husband to envision a curriculum based preschool focused on building strong academic and social foundations designed to set students up for future success.
This is that school. Gifted is an extraordinary program that enriches each child's gifts and talents through learning experiences that brings out their creativity and critical thinking while also providing children with a curriculum intentionally designed to build them to be advanced, successful learners.

In 2017, Gifted Early Learning Academy started as a small four classroom preschool in Lafayette. In a short period of time, there was such a demand for our programs that we expanded our building over the next year and in 2021, we added a second campus in Broussard. As we continuously receive feedback in regards to our alumni students being recognized as top readers and learners in their elementary schools, we couldn't be prouder of the impact we're making in so many children's lives.
